Boston Bakes for Cancer • May 8 – May14
Scarlet Oak Tavern has been a proud supporter of Boston Bakes for Cancer for many years. Our participation in this special event has special meaning to our pastry chef, Julie Barnes, who lost her dear friend to breast cancer last year. Julie’s friend, Marisa Federico, was well known in the South Shore area. No one will forget her love of family and the city of Boston. She was an active participant of athletic charity events and enjoyed nature and the outdoors. She is very sorely missed.
100 % of our Tiramisu Rosa sales May 2 – May 8 will be donated to Boston Bakes for Cancer which benefits breast cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
